Najya A. Williams (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist who floats along the U.S. East Coast. She graduated from Harvard College and is a 2025 M.D. and Narrative Medicine Program Graduate from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (Temple University). Najya is devoted to the liberation and healing of all oppressed peoples, and this passion is reflected in many of her projects, service efforts, and literary works. Looking ahead, Najya hopes to inspire full-body wellness across the world, one word and patient visit at a time.

Sam Held is an editor based in Florida by way of Ohio, New York, and Texas. Working in development for Sage Publishing, she collaborates with academics to create social science textbooks that inspire students to approach contemporary challenges with critical thought and empathy.

Short Story
Tori Metcalf is a film and television executive from Austin, Texas. While at Hello Sunshine, she was a co-producer on Hulu’s Tiny Beautiful Things, starring Kathryn Hahn, created by Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere), based on Cheryl Strayed’s iconic book of essays. She has developed projects for Amazon, Hulu, ABC, and Disney+. She holds degrees in creative writing and screenwriting from the University of Southern California and lives in Los Angeles.
Willa Jones
Illustrator
Willa Jones is a producer and illustrator living in Queens, New York. She has helped to produce a range of work, from animated short films about unsung women in history (Unladylike2020) as well as investigative documentary series for CNN, PBS, Netflix and Hulu. She loves delving into in-depth research and writing and capturing people and their stories through documentary film, TV, and drawn and painted portraits — and is very excited to be a part of WONDERING.
